Harness Racing Interdominion Final Preview

The 2015 Inter Dominion (Race 6) over 2536m returns back to Perth on Sunday and it’s a very competitive Group 1 race.

Favourite for the race is the ultra-consistent Lennytheshark who won his first two heats of the series pretty impressively and then he ran a brave race to finish second behind Lovers Delight last Friday night.

This horse doesn’t know how to run a bad race and if he gets luck in running then he should be very hard to beat.

He is a very classy horse on his day and he is better than most of these, but we are happy to lay him because we think he is well under the odds at his current quote of 2.00.

Philadelphia Man has been in brilliant form throughout the Inter Dom Series and that is why he is the second pick in the race.

Forget his last run because he had no luck at all and I believe he has drawn to get a perfect run throughout the race this weekend.

Lovers Delight has been very well supported to win the race following his win over Lennytheshark last start and he is going to be very hard to beat again after drawing the inside gate.

He will lead at all cost this Sunday but will he be able to hold on…. I wouldn’t think so!

Waylade has been a consistent performer in this series and he has drawn to get a lovely run but we think he is another one that is well under the odds.

Devendra has grown another leg this series and if he repeats his last start effort then he will be major contender in this race.

I love the way that he attacked the line last start and we believe he is great each way value on Sunday.

My Hard Copy ran a brave race behind the two favourites last start and we think he is a cheeky chance if he can slot into a nice position.

He is a little bit under the odds at the moment but on race day we think you will get over 20/1 and if that is the case then he is definitely worth a ticket at those odds.

If you are looking for a roughie in the race then you can’t go past Libertybelle Midfrew who showed plenty of speed last start and went on to record a handy win.

Keep a very close eye on the market because it will be a great guide to picking the winner.

Lennytheshark has a definite class edge on this field but we think he is a bit vulnerable this weekend, so we will make sure that we are top odds.

Make sure you strap yourself into your recliner, grab a beer and get ready to watch some of the best pacers in the world compete against each other this Sunday.
