Paolo Bandini's Serie A Betting: Roma And Milan To Cancel Each Other Out In Race To Catch Juve

Fiorentina - Sassuolo

Goals remain hard to come by at the Stadio Artemio Franchi - where there have been a total of just nine scored in seven league games. Sassuolo, though, have only failed to find the net only once in 24 outings across all competitions. With Federico Bernardeschi hitting form for La Viola - he has five goals in his last six games - I suspect this may be a less staid occasion.

Both teams to score - 1.79

Roma - Milan

Level in second place on 32 points, this is a chance for either Roma or Milan to position themselves as Juventus’s chief competition. The Giallorossi have played the more attractive and expansive football this season, yet their opponents have shown different qualities: a calmness and patience rarely seen in such a young team, which can make them devastating on the counter-attack.

At full-strength, I do believe Roma are stronger - and especially playing at home. But even in victory over Lazio last weekend, it was evident that the loss of Mohamed Salah to injury had cost them a good part of the dynamism that makes them so dangerous. I start to find the short odds on a home win less compelling.

Draw - 4.10
